Singer/Songwriter
Professionally published singer/songwriter Brother Red, otherwise known as Shea Michaels, has been on the Mississippi Coastal music scene for over three decades. He has performed as an independent artist at numerous venues across the South from festivals, casinos, local taverns, and opening for national acts such as Edwin McCain (I'll Be/I Could Not Ask For More), Andy Griggs (You Won't Ever Be Lonely/She Thinks She Needs Me), Marc Broussard (Home), and Michael Grimm (America's Got Talent Season 5).
Away from the live scene he has successfully penned songs for International, National, and regional artist including the likes of Kid Rock (Cold Beer), The Williams Riley Band (Who Dat Roll), Foret Tradition (Let The Groove Move Ya/Already Gone), Junior Lacrosse (She's All Mine) and Ross Grisham (Cold Hard Truth and Rosaline). He has also enjoyed original collaborations with the likes of singer/songwriter Levi Lowrey (co-writer of Colder Weather, Day of the Dead, and Southern Wind by the Zac Brown Band).
